If you missed out on watching the inaugural Kinektic Grappling Tournament then you missed out on the incredible sight of Lachlan Giles single-handedly running through 5 opponents in under 10 minutes. Known for his inside heel-hook, he used it to submit 4 of the 5 opponents, finishing the other with an armbar.
A proven competitor and coach (he’s the coach of Polaris champion Craig Jones), Giles here shows the technique that’s helped him run through the competition. The Australian black belt shows some of the common mistakes competitors make with inside heel hooks, while also talking through how to safely practice them.
